Church of the Fountain Aya Haralambos
The church, located on Çarşı Caddesi, is the only church in the center of Çeşme district that has managed to be preserved to this day. The frescoes painted by Sitaras are remarkable for their patterns and designs. The church takes its name from Saint Haralambos, who served as the spiritual leader of Christians in Manisa between 193 and 210. The church, where Greeks from the island of Gyumri hold mass on special days, also hosts exhibitions and various cultural and artistic events.
