Closed stock exchange
The Stock Exchange Closed Market took its first form as the closed markets that occurred with the closure of the roofs of the exchanges during Orhan Gazi. In the following years, the Sahafs, Akatars, Ivaz Pasha, Gelincik, Sipahis, Karacabey formed the Closed Market by adding the old copper markets. The bazaar, which burned down completely in 1958, was rebuilt; not as a single storey as it was originally; it was built from the ground floor, at street level and on both sides of the roads as shops and upper floors of shops. The roof of the bazaar is also covered in a modern way. The Ivaz Pasha and Old Copper Workers' Markets, which remained open after the earthquake of 1855, were restored in 1960 and closed.
Exchange Closed Market stores consist of many types of products, with the majority of Exchange Closed Market towel makers.
