House of Leaves Museum
Located in the capital Tirana and named after the green vine that winds around the outside of the building in which it is located, the Leafed House National Museum of Telephone Eavesdropping is a museum opened with the aim of telling young people and foreigners about the period when Albania was ruled by communism.
The museum, which displays tools and documents used to interrogate citizens, diplomats, and many different government agencies during the communist regime, sheds light on the history of Albania.
The entrance fee to the museum, which contains dozens of listening devices, cameras, sound recorders, as well as more than 2000 objects documenting the various convictions and torture of people found to be anti-regime as a result of listening with these devices, is 700 Albanian Leki.
