14. Yüzyıl dan günümüze kadar birçok kez onarılarak gelmiş 1. Murat Hüdavendigar tarafından inşa edilmiş cami. Huzur bulacağınız bir yer.

Erken dönem (1. Murad dönemi) Osmanlı eseridir. Tepeye, kayanın üzerine vadiye hakim bir noktaya ve de Antik Asos Kenti’nin dibine kargir kesme taştan inşa edilmiştir. Kare merkezi plan tipine sahiptir.

Huzur... Camii tek kubbeli plan şeması, alçı mihrabı, almaşık duvar tekniği ve surların içinde inşa edilmesi gibi özellikleriyle erken Osmanlı mimarisinin XIV. yüzyılın ikinci yarısına ait önemli bir örneğidir.Minaresi yoktur.

Assos antik kente yürüryerek çıkarken gişelerin solunda tepede kayaların üzerine inşa edilmiş, atalarımızdan yadigar cami. Minaresi yok. Birçok kez tadilattan geçmiş. İçinde kadırga resimleri var. İlk defa burada gördüm cami içinde resim. Manzarası güzel. Görmeden geçmeyelim.

Tarihi güzel bir osmanlı camisi büyük bir kayanın başında otantik bir camimiz. İbadete açık abdest alma yeri biraz sıkıntılı bir boruyu yere eğerek abdest alıyorsunuz buraya hiç yakışmıyor düzgün bir yer yapılmalı tuvaleti yok. Biraz daha bakımlı olabilir. Gün batımı buradan çok güzel
