It's M. Oh, my God. Tools made of flint stone found in the plain of Iğdır, which has been inhabited for 4000 years, testify that the Yontma Stone Age also lived in this region. Due to its low altitude compared to the surrounding highlands, such as Mount Agri, it is not much affected by the harsh land climate found in other cities in the East. All kinds of agricultural activities are carried out in the Iğdır Plain, which creates a microclimate climate with its well position and almost Mediterranean air, including various fruit growing and cotton production.
The wealth of the forest is almost non-existent. It is observed that the cave air of rock salt found in the salt flats is good for asthma and bronchitis patients to breathe comfortably. Shalak, a world-famous variety of cauliflower that grows only in the region of Iğdır and Kazımistan, has elliptical-shaped sweet seeds that can also be consumed dried. In the past, gravestones with the head of a goat can be seen in all the old cemeteries in Iğdır.
