Konak etnografya müzesine çevrilmiş. Müze kart geçerli. İçeride çok fazla obje olmasa da gezilmesi görülmesi gereken mekanlardan. Yapının ustaları maharetlerini adeta konuşturmuş. İçinde yaşam varken de görmek isterdim. Normal şartlarda yüksek tavan ve tavan işlemeleri ruhumu sıkar. Fakat bu yapıda gerçekten tavanlarını çok beğendim. Büyük bir alana sahip konağın etrafında ki rahatsız edici mekanlar olmasa daha iyi olurmuş. Kültür bakanlığı ve Kayseri belediyesinin bu hususta yapılması gerekenleri yapacağına inanıyorum. Etrafının temizlenmesi şart.

Girişi 15 TL, müzekart geçerli. Pazartesi günleri kapalı. Elektrik kesintisi olduğundan girişler kapalıydı. Bimbir rica doğrultusunda görevli personel eşliğinde, el feneri ışığında gezdik. Bu durum ilginç bir deneyim oldu. Haremlik selamlık olarak iki kısımdan oluşuyor. Duvar ve tavan süslemeleri gerçekten harika.

Kayseri'yi ziyaret ediiyorsanız burayı muhakkak görmelisiniz. 13.yy'da yapımına başlanan, zamanla eklemelerle büyüyen harikulade bir konak burası. Anlaşılan Ermeni taş ustalarının ellerinden çıkmış efsane desenlere sahip. Hele ki doğal boya kullanılarak desen işlenen bir odası var ki saatlerce dursa insan sıkılmaz içinde. Zaman içinde yolculuk gibi... Hakkıyla gezmek en az 2 saat.

Çok süslü, büyük bir konak. Kesinlikle görmek gerekiyor. Kayseri’nin eski günlük hayat yaşayış biçimini de görebiliyorsunuz. Müzekart geçiyor, tavanları ve detaylarını izlemekten insan kendini alamıyor.

Konakta iç mekan ahşap sanatı çok iyi işlenmiş özellikle kündekari tekniği renk stillerinin uyumu yerinde olmuş sade gibi görünsede olmadığı açık dış mekanda taş kullanımı Kayseri yapılarında yaygın kullanılan bir model bazı alanlardaki Selçuklu dönemi yansımaları karşımıza çıkmakta . Odalar arası geçişler mümkün süslü hamam girişi şaşırtıcı. Avludaki yaşam havuzu keşke düzenlenmiş olsaydı.Kayseri etnik kültürüne özgü fikir edinilebilecek bir müze olmuş.müze kart geçerli aksi halde 2021 fiyatı 12 buçuk TL .ek olarak da müze bahçesinde bir kafeterya olması gereksinimi yarattı. Yerel Kahveci Billur ürünlerinin sunumu gibi neden olmasın💁
