The 17th Istanbul Biennial, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Art, meets with art lovers. The Istanbul Biennial meets with art lovers. The event, which brings together the historical and cultural sites of Istanbul with art, has been held every two years since 1987.

In 2022, from 17 September to 20 November, the biennial will be held free of charge, and you can see the valuable works of artists, writers, poets, researchers, architects and musicians, as well as participate in seminars and workshops!

This year, 12 exhibition halls located in the districts of Beyoğlu, Kadıköy, Fatih and Zeytinburnu can be visited free of charge as the main venues of the biennial.

- Biennale venues in Beyoğlu: Pera Museum, Performing Arts Research Area, Central Greek Girls' High School, SAHA Studio, Büyükdere35, Istanbul Approach Tunnel

- Biennial venues in Fatih: Barin Han, The Chinese Bath, The Little Mustafa Pasha Bath

- Biennale venue in the Olive Garden: the Olive Garden of Medicinal Plants

- Biennale venues in Kadıköy: the Gazhane Museum and the Arthereistan

You can visit the exhibition halls free of charge and include guided tours accompanied by expert guides from 10.00 to 18.00. You can visit between 00 and 18.00. You can walk between the hours of 00:00. (Except on Mondays at the Bar Khan, the Gazhane Museum and the Pera Museum).
