The Akhisar Museum, which operates in a historic building built in 1933, opened in 2012. The museum, which exhibits 1451 archaeological and ethnographic works, consists of a total of 11 sections. Fossils of 18 million years old, Yortan ceramics made in 6000-3000 BC, ceramics from 700-500 BC, silver vessels and a golden calf are some of the most interesting artifacts in the museum.
