The Anzer Plateau
The Anzer Plateau
The Anzer plateau, one of the most popular springs in the city, is at an altitude of 2105 meters in the county of İkizdere. It is about 100 km from the city center and transportation is provided via the Rize-Espir Road. Anzer is connected to Çoruh River on one side and Bayburt City on the other side to Trabzon Uzungöl Tourism Center. In addition to the cultural influences of being in a transition zone, it is on its way to becoming one of the important tourism centers of the future due to its location surrounded by the plateaus of Meles, Petran, Kabahor, Garzavan. The land of flowers, the nature-only holiday route and the oxygen-rich Anzer Plateau are quite impressive with their unique landscapes and beauty. The plateau, which consists of two areas called Bally Village and Flower Village, is flooded with visitors in the spring and summer. It is a unique excursion point, especially for nature walks and nature photography, with trees that shed their leaves in different shades of green in summer and yellow and red in winter. There are also facilities on the Aydar Plateau that offer visitors the option of staying in nature.
