The Big Castle

When you're about two kilometers away from the village of Yazılıkaya in Han County, this time you're at Kocabaş Castle. Silos and pits can still be seen in this area, where mountainous Phrygia continues. The presence of a rocky and wooded area indicates that the castle was not used for defensive purposes in the past and it is more likely that it was an outpost used for the purpose of observing the King's Road.
