Bu kadar büyük bir bahçe olacağını düşünmemiştim. Tamamını gezmek için minimum 3 saat verin :) tüm hizmetler ücretsiz. Otopark imkanı var. Her yerde merdiven varken aynı zamanda engelli/bebek arabası kullanımı için de çok uygun. Botanik Bahçesi ve eğitim alanı da olduğu için tüm bitkilerin ne olduğu da küçük kartlarda belirtilmiş. Her mevsim açan çiçeklerin bulunduğunu düşünürsek burası cennetten bir köşe gibi... Çocuklara uygun çeşitli parklar, piknik alanları, çeşit çeşit kuşları, ağaçları hepsi görülmeye değer. 💐

Girişler ücretsiz, "ANG Vakıfı" tarafından fonlanmış ve belediyenin denetiminde olan bir tesis olarak devam ediyor. Vakfın sahibi Ali Nihat Gökyiğit tarafından eşi Nezahat Gökyiğit adına yaptırılmış. ANG Vakfı'nın temel amacı Türkiye florasına ait bitki türlerinin tespit edilmesi, kaydedilmesi ve korunmasıymış. Her yere itina ile tabelalar ile "ANG Vakfı'nın Bir hayır hizmetidir." şeklinde ilan edilmiş, Allah razı olsun da garip bir durum, girişe konulması yeterli olabilirdi. Ali Nihat Gökyiğit TEKFEN Holding, TEMA ve TEKZEN'nin kurucusuymuş. Açıkçası fikir olarak otoban kenarındaki yeşil alanların bu şekilde değerlendirmesi takdire şayan. Bir sürü personel çalışıyor. Belki tüm kavşaklar için mümkün değil ama bu amaçla kullanabilecek istihtam oluşturabilecek alan ve lokasyonlar mevcut. Bitki ve ağaçların üzerinde asılı Türkçe ve Latince isimlerinin yer aldığı künyeleri ve etiketleri var. Çocuklar için kum havuzu ve oyun parkuru ve bir kaç etkinlik alanı var. Otopark ücretsiz, hafta sonları otopark sıkıntısı yaşatıyor, hafta içi sorun olacağını sanmam. Düğün, nişan fotoğrafları için kullanılabilir. Çeşitli kanatlı hayvanlar, balıklar, dere kurbağası ve ek olarak kaplumbağalar mevcut onun dışında bir hayvan göremedim.

Betonların arasında kalmış bir vaha gibi sanki. Emeği geçenleri gerçekten takdir etmek lazım. Böyle bir hizmeti sundukları için hee türlü takdiri hakkediyorlar. Ancak bunu bizim millet hakkediyor mu gerçekten merak ediyorum. Ücretsiz şekilde her türlü hizmet var ama ona teşekkürü kirleterek veriyor malesef çöpler bile ayrılmış tek tek ancak 2 metre öteye atmak yerine ortalığa atıyor. Pırıl pırıl tuvalet yapılmış ama kullanmayı bilen kim yazık gerçekten üzülüyorum şu emeklere ama botanik bahçe herşeye rağmen harika. Mesire alanı var mangal yok büfe yok çekirdek yok iyi ki de yok yerlere oturulmuyor masalar var erken gidin kazlar var dikkat edin ve GİDENLER LÜTFEN TEMİZLİĞE DİKKAT EDİN! bu emeğe yazık olmasın

Harika bir yer ailecek gezilecek yerlerden biri Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanik Bahçesi (NGBB), 1995 yılında Ali Nihat Gökyiğit tarafından eşi Nezahat Gökyiğit adına hatıra parkı oluşturulmak amacıyla kurulmuş ve başlangıçta ‘hatıra parkı’ amacına yönelik bir bitkilendirme ve ağaçlandırma planı uygulanmıştır. Önce yol inşaatı nedeniyle yapısı aşırı derecede bozulmuş toprak ıslah edilmiş; sonra 46 hektarlık park alanına takriben 50.000 ağaç ve çalı dikilmiştir. Daha sonra amaç değiştirilerek, bir botanik bahçesi olma yolunda çalışmalara başlanarak 2002 yılında halkın ziyaretine açılmış ve 2003 yılında adı Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanik Bahçesi olarak değiştirilmiştir. İstanbul’un Anadolu yakasında, Atatürk ve Fatih Sultan Mehmet köprülerinden gelen otoyollarla, Anadolu otoyolunun(Ankara) birleştiği kavşakta bulunmaktadır. Bahçe, kavşaktaki anayollar ile bağlantı yolları arasındaki adalar üzerinde kuruludur ve sekiz adadan oluşmaktadır. Alan, Karayolları Genel Müdürlüğü ile ANG Vakfı arasındaki bir protokolle bu hizmete tahsis edilmiştir. NGBB, İstanbullular için bir nefes alma noktası olmasının yanı sıra, bir araştırma, eğitim ve öğretim merkezidir.

Tek kelimeyle harika bir mekân. Istanbul merkezinde böyle bir yesillik dehası bir yer. Ailece çok keyifli bir zaman geçirebileceğiniz farklı aktiviteler mevcut. Ancak alan çok geniş ve çeşitli olduğundan sadece gezmek için en az 3 saatinizi vermeniz gerekiyor bunun dışında piknik de yapabilirsiniz. Otopark ücreti dışında bütün etkinlikler ücretsiz. Haftasonu siraya girmemek için erken saatlerde gelmekte fayda var.
