The Canyon of the Pigeon Fly
Pigeon canyon is a canyon formed on karst rocks located in the Antalya Plateau. The canyon is 2 km long, 20-30 meters wide, and 115 meters high. Traverten rocks are common in the area, and the canyon has sailing terraces. As the name suggests, this interesting geographical formation, through which a coral-green stream flows, is quite steep and without any safety precautions. Nevertheless, it is a magnificent natural wonder and a popular tourist destination. Picnicking and camping are free in the area, but visitors should be aware that there are no facilities.
In the environment, you can see deer, roe deer, mountain goat, wild boar, fox, badger, rabbit, steed, eagle, and so on.
