Hasbet Castle is located in the center of the city, on a slope in the eastern extension of the Red Visitation Mountain in the south of Mushun.

The castle, one of the oldest parts of the city, is located in the center of Muş. The exact date is unknown, but it was around the middle of the 7th century AD, following the Mongol invasion. It was the middle of the century. During the Ottoman period, the castle and its surroundings were the scene of battles. On the western side of the castle, the destroyed Arab cemetery, the Seljuk cemetery and the Ottoman cemetery are in a confused and disorganized state. The castle, which is maintained as a municipal park, has now become one of the main picnic spots for the public.
