The castle in Tirana, the capital of Albania, and the oldest city in Albania, was built in the 13th century and will follow Byzantine and Ottoman structures. They're going to be built in the 20th century, and they're going to follow Byzantine and Ottoman structures. It contains traces of life since the Early Iron Age, and in the past it formed the defensive circle of Tirana along with many castles, while the inner structures were also home to the city's administrative families. In 1640, the castle was renovated by Ahmet Bey, who raised the castle walls. In the 18th century, the castle was renovated as a result of the conflict between the merger of Ahmet Kurt Pasha of Berat and Buşatlı. Restoration works continue.
