The city park of Governor Huseyn Counselor

Vali Hüseyin Öğütçen City Park is located on the banks of the Gönen River in the Gönen Central Liberation District. After a major earthquake in the area in 1953, the city was destroyed and the old cemetery on the site of today's park was moved to make a park. The park, which allows the city to breathe, is frequently used by locals. The park, which was used as a cemetery for a very long time, has huge pine and spruce trees. The park, located next to the spas in the downtown area, has hiking trails, green spaces, cafes, and various social areas.
