The Galata Bridge
The Galata Bridge, one of the few tram bridges in the world, is an 80-meter-long cantilever bridge built over the Halych, part of which can be opened. The first Galata Bridge was built in 1845 but burned down as a result of a fire. The reconstructed current bridge was opened to traffic in 1994. At the bottom of the bridge, where dozens of people fish every day, there are many fish restaurants overlooking both the harbor and the gorge.
