The ceiling and wall decorations in Sarkis Balyan buildings, high doors and windows, and colorful embroidery in the interiors represent the woodwork of the Ottoman period.

The Yellow Pavilion has a special decoration; It has three rooms and a living room on the upper floor, four rooms, a hall and a kitchen on the lower floor, and a basement. There are oil-painted flower motifs on the interior ceiling and typical examples of exterior carving art. Woodworking materials include walnut, apple, plane, linden, ebony, rose, and oak, while floral decoration and geometric compositions adorned the woodwork. Eclectic styles under Western influence combined with rococo, baroque, and empire decorations enriched the interiors.

The high ceilings are decorated with hand-drawn works, and the walls and ceilings are decorated with pomegranate flowers, rose, carnation, jasmine, and tulip motifs and covered with gold leaves.
