The ice cave of Harput
The Ice Cave is a natural wonder estimated to be between 150 and 200 meters deep among the rocks called ice rock. Due to the geomorphological feature and shape of the cave and the climatological conditions that occur here, ice naturally forms in the cave during the hot summer months. In the winter, there is no ice. Therefore, as a result of underground air currents, the cave is warm in winter and cold in summer. There are very few caves of this type in the world.
