The Malatya Museum
The museum is located in the Kernek neighborhood of Malatya, where works from many periods are exhibited, ranging from Neolithic times to the Ottoman period. Ancient swords and spearheads, seal prints, bowls and pottery, stone reliefs that adorned the Late Hittite palace wall and other artifacts found so far in the archaeological studies carried out in the province of Malatya and its surroundings are exhibited in this museum. The artifacts from the rescue excavations carried out by the museum management are exhibited chronologically and thematically in 32 showcases located in three exhibition halls. The vast majority of the artifacts exhibited in the museum are from Arslantepe. All days of the week, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum Card is valid in the museum, which is open from 00:00 to 17:00.
