The Ibrahim Müteferrika Paper Museum is located in Bahçelievler Mahallesi, Yalova Province, 4 kilometers from the city center. It was built in the name of Ibrahim Müteferrika, the first printer of the Ottoman Period. It is among the most important historical buildings of Yalova in terms of being the first papermaking history museum in Turkey. The museum was opened to the public in 2013. The Ibrahim Müteferrika Paper Museum exhibits a large number of manuscripts and handmade papers from the Ottoman Period. The museum has a rich document library related to the history of papermaking. The museum is closed on Fridays and the rest of the week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It can be visited between 00:00 and 17:30. It can be visited between 30 and 30 hours.
