The National Museum of Kosovo

The National Museum of Kosovo, the largest and most important museum in Kosovo, serves as an institution established for the purpose of preserving and presenting the portable cultural heritage in the region. It is one of the important landmarks of Kosovo due to its architecture and location. The entire museum building consists of three different museums: the Kosovo Museum itself, the Emin Gjiku Residential Complex, where an ethnological exhibition is presented, and the Museum of Independence. Inside and outside, portable archaeological remains and artifacts are on display. The museum consists of four sections: archaeological, historical, natural and ethnological. As a result, it has an important place where you can learn about the history and architecture of Kosovo.
