A large part of the nature park consists of olive groves, characteristic building textures shaped by the traditional building style, and historical areas. The park, which is home to red corals found only in two places in the Mediterranean, has about 30 dive sites in the northern Aegean that are undisturbed, suitable for every level of diver, and some of them are unique in the Turkish coast due to the coral beds they have.
The Ayvalık Islands, geomorphological units formed by the collapse of the hills in the Aegean basin as a result of tectonic movements in the Pleistocene, have influenced the underwater topography by influencing the underwater natural landscape beauty thanks to the ancient mountain extensions that played a major role in their formation.
Of the islands that make up the Ayvalık Islands Nature Park, only Cunda Island, officially called Alibey Island, is open for construction. The island of Cunda, inhabited mainly by Greeks until the exchange period, is one of the most important tourist centers in the Northern Aegean with its old stone houses from the Greeks, cute boutique hotels, churches and monasteries, beaches decorated with pine and olive trees, and cobblestone streets with Albanian pavement.
The islands in the Ayvalık Islands Nature Park that are not open to construction and many of them can only be reached by boat are: Pinar Island (Moscow, Guide), Naked Island, Yellice Island (Poyraz Island), Sun Island, Mineral Island (Pirgos), Girl Island, Egg Island, Fish Island, Black Island, Hasir Island, Small Island, Pigeon Island, Mineral Island, Tailey Island (p aloit), Sailing Island (Ayiy), Black Island (Petago), Lonely Island (Little Island), Round Island and Eye Island (Kalamapulo).
The paths through the nature park through the pine trees are very beautiful. It's got some nice hiking trails. There are pockets on the side of the road where you can see the island and the magnificent bay from the top. You can follow some trails and swim in the bays where you land. The boat tours give you swimming breaks in the bays around here.
