For nearly 60 years, it has been a corner of paradise in a border county with simple architectural features, restaurants, tea gardens, a historic mill at the bottom of the lake and a water channel that is still in operation, a suspension bridge over the lake, and an ambitious desert climate with barbed wire to make you forget the scorching Hatay heat.
