The palace of Mustafa Pasha the Gunner
Located on the trade routes that included the Silk Road, this caravanserai is important in terms of showing the commercial density of the city at that time. The khan, which had a commercial as well as a military function, was built on a very solid foundation. In the restoration carried out between 2007 and 2010, the shops surrounding the front of the caravanserai were removed; the mosque section, the recesses, the pool section and the walls were restored. Today, the Armed Mustafa Pasha Karvansaray has been transformed into a place where international artistic and cultural activities are held. Within this scope, courses such as painting, music, ebru and thesis course, wood carving, glasswork, jewelry and design, ceramics, traditional handicrafts, art workshops, seminars, panels, conferences, concerts, work shop studies, folklore shows are organized. In addition, since 2005, the "International Kervansaray Meeting from Melita to Battalgazi" History-Archaeology-Culture and Art Days activities have been held inside and in the courtyard, which is quite large.
