The Plains of Karabakh
The Plains of Karabakh
The Karabakh Plateau is a page for Mugla. Despite being called "Yayla" among the people, its altitude is below the provincial center. It may sound unreasonable at first, but it doesn't seem unreasonable at all considering that the provincial capital used to be in Gökova. It has a structure similar to the Black Sea plateau settlement rather than a mass settlement on the Karabakh Plateau.

The old Mughal houses in the gardens are like portraits of peace and tranquility, intertwined with nature.
Evliya Çelebi, who came to Mugla in 1670 for these lands:
If a stranger enters these Karabakhs, he will lose his way. There's never sun in the garden paths... In the Ottoman country, it's like Malatya's Aspuzi or Konya's Meram...
Another thing that will attract your attention in Karabakh will be the Coffee Culture. Unlike most places in Anatolia, coffee was used here as a place of lodging and a center for the exchange of information for merchants and travelers.
