The Salt Cave of Çankırı
With a history of about 5000 years, Çankırı Salt Cave is one of the largest and oldest salt mines in the world. In the cave, which is thought to have been operated since the time of the Hittites, a donkey fossil from about 200 years ago, which has survived to the present day thanks to the salt quality of the cave, is remarkable. Sculptures made of salt, salt hangings, the same Orhun Monuments, which are the same size as rock salt, and the cave Çankırı, which has increased its tourist value, are among the places you must visit on your trip.
