The Seljuk Palace
The Seljuk Palace
With the conquest of Ani by the Seljuks in 1064, the construction of structures belonging to the Seljuks began in the area.
One of the most beautiful examples of this is the Seljuk Palace, located on the northwestern side of the Ancient City of Ani, which is one of the tourist attractions of Kars.
The door of the structure, which sheds light on the stone workmanship of Seljuk architecture, is surrounded by geometric ornaments and decorations.
