The Storm River
The Storm Valley, one of our streams in the eastern Black Sea, is formed by the confluence of streams on the slopes of the Caucasus Mountains facing the Black Sea. It is 19 km away from the district of Çamlıhemşin, which is connected to the center of Rize. The total length of this stream, which meanders through the forests and joins in a bed, is 57 kilometers. Storm Creek is called the great stream by the people of the region, and botanists who frequently visit the area note that this area is home to a fairly large mass of plant species. Stormwater is also of great interest to camping enthusiasts and those interested in water sports such as rafting.
