Zelve Valley is a historical settlement in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. It is one of the oldest Christian settlements in Cappadocia and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The valley is located in a wide valley of tuff rocks and is about 3 km long and 1 km wide. The fairy chimneys, historic churches, and underground cities here exhibit a unique natural beauty, as in other valleys of Cappadocia.
Among the most important buildings in the Zelve Valley are historical churches such as the Church of St. John, the Church of the Vineyard and the Church of the Deer. There are also structures such as underground cities, living spaces, and storage rooms.
The Zelve Valley offers visitors the opportunity to discover the historical and cultural heritage of Cappadocia. The valley is also a popular destination for tourist activities such as hiking tours, hot air balloon tours, and horse safaris.
