Where is the sultanate?
Located in the Sultansuyu valley on the Malatya-Kayseri highway 27 kilometers west of Malatya, Hara was founded in 1865 as Sultansuyu Farm and Humayun. After the announcement of the Meshrutiyet, which continued to meet the needs of the army of the period for riding horses, goats, chickens, etc. until 1908, a timber warehouse was established in the Aziziye Barracks and the surrounding 500 acres of land and was named hara for the first time. Hara, which is still run by the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises, is famous for its purebred Arabian horses. Picnicking and resting are available at Sultansuyu Haras and nearby Sultansuyu Dam and its surroundings.
