The mosque, which was built in 1326 during the reign of the Karamanids, is interesting for its later minaret. In front of it there is a manor house and a bridge belonging to the sons of Karamano. It is a fully carved stone domed mosque with a central plan in the Akarca neighborhood. The mosque is entered through a stone door with a pressed arch facing west. Just opposite the entrance is a stone altar with little depth, and on the right is an unoriginal wooden minbar. In the corners of the structure and on the side walls, in the openings with deaf pointed arches, the round inner filling embedded in the wall provides access to the dome in a style rarely seen in traditional Turkish architecture. The legs of the deaf belts are supported by triangular pegs. To the left of the entrance, the single-nave minaret with a groove rises above the base in place of the former wooden minaret. The six-line inscription just above the entrance door reads 1326 H. Although the date is read, the inscription is not original.
