Monumental tombs

There is a memorial cemetery in three villages of Gaziantep's Araban district. The monumental tombs located in the villages of Hisar, Elif and Hasanoğlu also took their names from the villages where they were located. The tombs are 2nd and 3rd AD. It's estimated to date back to the 3rd century. It's estimated to be from the 19th century. The cemeteries, which are thought to date back to the Roman period, are said to have been built for wealthy people and high-ranking soldiers who lived during that period. The cemeteries made of hewn stone consist of 3 sections; the cemetery at the bottom, the columns at the top and the roof.
