The Biga Halim Bey Manor City Museum was opened as the City Museum in 2010 by the Municipality of Biga. Ethnographic materials from Biga and its surroundings are exhibited in the three-story wooden mansion.
Located in the center of Biga county, the mansion has a three-story structure with an alaturka tile roof. The basement of the building is made of brick, while the other floors are made of wood. The garden and the bathroom belonging to the manor house have two interconnected taps for the purpose of meeting the water needs. It was built for his family by Halim Bey, who was involved in the orange and fertilizer trade in the early 1900s. Later, from 1998, it began to be used as the Ethnographic Museum of the Municipality of Biga. The mansion exhibits objects about how life was lived in Biga and its surroundings.
Halim Bey Manor is an important building that has been recognized as a second-class historical monument. The mansion, which is one of the first places to visit in Biga, was restored as a museum in 2008 and nowadays offers many local works to visitors.
