Genel itibariyle çok temiz berrak bir koy, burasını da malesef çoğu işletme parsellemiş durumda harcama limiti koyaraktan müşterilerini kendi şezlongla ve şemsiyelerinde ağırlıyor. 150 TL kişi başı harcama limiti konulmuş, hamburger 90 ile 110 TL arası, su 10 TL, biralar 50 ile 80 arası diye devam ediyor tercih sizin. Denizin dalgaları akşam üzerine doğru biraz yükseliyor, gündüz gayet dingin, büyük çakıltaşları var, ve bir anda derinleşiyor, yüzme bilmeyenler için sıkıntı oluşturabilir.

Datça’nın en uzun sahillerinden birine sahip olan Palamutbükü son yıllarda turistlerin en çok ilgisini çeken plajlar arasındadır. Bunda rüzgârlardan etkilenmeyen, berrak denizinin rolü oldukça büyük. Sahil boyunca adım başı yeme-içme işletmeleri var, şezlong ve şemşiyelerinden yararlanabilirsiniz. Yaz aylarında Palamutbükü oldukça yoğun oluyor, ancak sahilin genişliği nedeniyle bir sıkışıklık yaşanmıyor. Sahil genellikle yassı çakıl taşlı, yürürken rahatsız etmiyor, denizi de bulanmıyor. Doğuya doğru kumluk kısımlar var. Palamutbükü, Datça merkezine 26 km uzaklıkta yer almaktadır. Sakin ve huzurlu bir ortamda tatil yapmayı planlayanlar için harika bir yer. Badem ağaçları, tertemiz denizi ile plajı ve plaj çevresinde yer alan konaklama imkanları ile tercih edilen bir bölge. Sahilde bir liman bulunuyor. Yatla gelenler için iyi bir konaklama alanı olabilir. Ayrıca liman sayesinde bölgede yapılan tekne turlarınada buradan katılabilirsiniz. Buraya gelirken Palamutbükü gezilecek yerler arasında sahilin hemen yakınında yer alan Akvaryum Koyu na gidebilirsiniz  Kindos Antik Kenti yaklaşık 15 km uzaklıkta yer alıyor. Burada Yöresel olarak kabak çiçeği dolması yeniliyor. Bademli lezzetlerden bademli kıymalı börek, bademli kabak gibi yiyecekleri deneyebilirsiniz.

Deniz güzel sahil keyifli manzara ortadaki ada ile birlikte kartpostal gibi ama burada hiçbir tesisin olmadığı zamanları hatırlıyorum da… ne keyifli nasıl el değmemiş bir yerdi burası. Şimdi baktığımda heryer yine beton olmuş, tepelere kadar yayılmış yerleşim. Çok popüler olmuş sadece kamp alanları ağaçlık kalmış neredeyse, kalabalıktan yürünmüyor sezonda, hala keyifli tabi

Datça'da uzun bir plaja sahip palamutbükü plajı yassı taşlarla kaplı, deniz sürekli berrak, hava rüzgarsız ve nem oranı az. Plajda endemik türlerden olan kum zambağı bitki ve çiçekleri var. Sakın koparmayın çok büyük cezası varmış. Nadir görebileceğiniz şeyler var diyebilirim Sevdik burayı. Datça'dan sonra yol yapım çalışması var biraz sıkıntılı.
