The castle of Selman
It is located in the south of the district, 10 km from the district center, on a hill overlooking the river Dicle. There is no book, so it is unknown by whom and when the castle was built. It is suggested that the fortress was probably built by the Persians. However, in terms of the style of construction, the castle shows similar characteristics to the sloping castle. One side of the castle is separated from the main mountain by cutting rocks. Hundreds of man-made caves have been found around the castle, indicating that the castle and its surrounding settlements date back to earlier times. The castle is referred to in Assyro-Syrian sources as the Cebabira castle. Among the people, this castle is known as Cibeb Castle.
