The mosque, built in the 18th-century architectural style, has a square plan of cut stone, covered with a central dome with a pendant. This mosque, located in Birgi Bucağ, Ödemiş district, was built by Derviş Ağa in 1663. As mentioned in the Travels of Evliya Çelebi, although there was a Derviş Ağa Madrasa with 70 cells next to the mosque and 200 shops, two inns and a bath, these structures have not reached our day.
