The Ethnographic Museum of the Oak Trees, located in the Village of the Oak Trees, was founded in 1991 by Alibey Kudar. The Tahtakuşlar Ethnographic Museum, Turkey's first private ethnographic museum, also has the distinction of being the first art gallery established in a village in Turkey. The UNESCO-awarded museum exhibits artifacts from the culture of Shamanism, in which the Turkic chiefs who migrated to Turkey from Central Asia believed. There are Turkmen clothes, clothes specific to Turkish sizes, household items, tools, handmade woolen bags, children's vests and items they use in daily life.
