A Sabir glass workshop was founded in the 1940s by Asaf Asfuroğlu and thousands of years of Antakya glass culture came to an end when the last factory closed. The building, which was converted into a museum because it will not start production activities again, green Antakya glass examples are exhibited in the Antakya Glass Museum in the 140-year-old historic Antakya house. Shadi Asfuroğlu, who continues this culture, creates reproductions of glass coins, tear bottles, perfume bottles and medicines, poison storage containers, liquid storage containers, glass bracelets and rings made in the Roman, Byzantine and Phoenician periods and found in archaeological museums.
