The entrance is a natural wonder that can be seen in the center. The creek bed, which flows into the sea directly opposite the island of Giresun, is 75 kilometers long. Water collected from the ice lakes in the Karagöl Mountains is poured through the Dereli district to here. Every year, a festival known as "May 7th" is held at the mouth of the river. Thousands of tourists attend the International Aksu Festival every year.
