The Olympic Museum was established to perpetuate the memory of the 14th Winter Olympics held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1984. The Olympic Museum was founded to perpetuate the memory of the Winter Olympics. Due to the bombing at the beginning of the 1992 Bosnian-Herzegovinian War, many of his precious works were lost, and the remaining works were taken to the temporarily opened museum in the Zetra Olympic Complex. With the funds raised by the donation of numerous artifacts on the theme of the 14th Winter Olympics, the former Olympic Museum building has been restored and since 2020 the museum can be visited.
