The Valley of the Priests
The Valley of the Priests
Pasabah Monks Valley is a tourist destination in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. It is considered one of the most beautiful valleys of Cappadocia and is one of the most remarkable examples of the Peribacas.
The name of the valley comes from the fairy chimneys, the settlements of the monks who lived here. The middle of the three small hills in the middle of the valley is full of carved and enclosed churches. The walls of these churches are decorated with frescoes and icons from the Byzantine period.
Like other valleys of Cappadocia, the Valley of the Priests of Pasha is famous for its tuff rocks, fairy chimneys, and various surface shapes. There are also tourist activities in the area, such as hot air balloon tours, horse safaris, and walking tours to visit historical sites.
