Yivli Minare Mosque and Tower
The Yivli Minare Mosque, one of the first Seljuk works in Antalya, has become a symbol of Antalya. The most remarkable structure of the ashram, which contains many structures consisting of mausoleums, madrasas and tombs, is undoubtedly the Yivli Minar, which also gives the work its name. The minaret has a magnificent appearance with a height of 39 meters, so named because of the shape of its eight half-cylinders. The influence of the number eight, which is common in Seljuk architecture, is seen in this mosque, which is also one of the oldest examples of multi-domed mosques.
