Gokceada New Bademli Hoyuk

Gokceada New Bademli Hoyuk, Yemibademli Hoyuk, which plays an important role in illuminating the rich cultural history of Gokceada, is a settlement with characteristic features. It was built on the rocky ground on the eastern side of a Ria-type bay and is surrounded by fortification walls built for defense purposes. Newbademli settlement can be reached by a ramp in the southwest direction. In addition to the building foundations with rectangular and apsidal plans common in the Aegean world, streets were also identified at Newbademli. The buildings in the settlement stand out with different construction techniques ranging from those with mudbrick walls on stone foundations to those built entirely with stone masonry. The buildings with stone foundations built without unity of direction are important remains reflecting the diversity and architectural richness of Gokceada's historical past. Höyük kapalı. Etrafını da çevirip kilitlemisler. Her yer ot diken, kimsenin baktığı yok. Tam bir hayal kırıklığı. Canım devletim buraları görse keşke.

Maalesef kazı alanı kendi haline bırakılmış, her tarafı otlar sarmış, hiç bir yer belli değil...keşke daha bakımlı olsa en azından grupları/ bireysel ziyaretçileri yönlendirebilsek....

Şu anda kazılar devam ettiği için henüz ziyarete açık değil. Fakat birkaç yıl içinde turizme kazandırabileceğini düşünüyorum. Şu anda alan kültür ve turizm bakanlığı, kültür varlıkları ve müzeler genel müdürlüğü himayesi altında.
