Selimiye Mosque is located in Edirne.

Selimiye Mosque II, which the great architect called the masterpiece of Architect Sinan ⁇ . It was made in 1575 in the name of Selim. There is more than one narrative about this mosque. It is said that when the upside-down tulip moves downwards, when it reaches the ground, the end will come. Another belief is that it was built by a blind master working in the mosque or that the mosque symbolizes the problems that the landowner raised in the construction of the mosque, while another belief is that the architect symbolizes his granddaughter Fatma, who died of illness at that time. There are many stories about the mosque. There are many beliefs, from the fact that the groundwater flows from the temple, to the fact that the domes of Hagia Sophia and Selimiye are equal, but this one is bigger, and the minarets are seen as two no matter where you look.
