You can see the life, ceremonies, and culture of the ancient Hittite Empire, the first state to be founded in Anatolia, which became world-famous, in the Alacahöyük Museum or in the places such as Hattuşaş and Alacahöyük, or you can visit the tombs carved into the huge rock blocks that were used as settlements by the Hellenic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman states in this area thousands of years ago.
