The historic Cinci Baths
The most striking structure in the center of the bazaar in Safranbolu is a magnificent space built by Rumeli Kazakh Cinci Hoca (Hussein's real name) in his hometown of Safranbolu. Built in 1645 during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim, Cinci Khan was built to meet the needs of merchants such as accommodation, food and drink due to the fact that the Silk Road passed through Safranbolu. The inn, which is made of cut and rubble stone, consists of two parts. The entrance door, lock and key of the 63-room 2-story Cinci Hanı ⁇ is an interesting example of Turkish ironwork.
