Muhteşem sanat eserleri, İşçilik te sınırları ve sabrı zorlayıp şaheserler yaparak bir dönem buralarda yaşanılan hayatları düşününce (günümüz ile kıyaslamak mümkün değil 100 m2 evler) tarihe özlem geçmişe saygı ve hürmet anlamında acaba eksikmiyiz diye düşündürüyor. Her bir parçası ayrı bir bir başyapıt bu evler artık tarihi eser kıvamında. Yıllara meydan okuması şaşırtıcı ve hala kullanibilirligi ise saygıyı fazlası ile hakeden bir durum. Eski kayseri mahallesi tarihe yolculuk için mükemmel yerlerden birisi. Konak tarzı yapıların çokluğu göze çarpıyor. Bazı konaklar otele bazıları cafe ve restoran olarak ziyaretçi bekliyor. Belediye kurumları da var. Neden burayı işgal ettiklerini anlayamadım. Daha fazla cafe restoran ve otel gibi işletmeler teşvik edilerek daha hareketli bir yere bir cazibe merkezine dönüştürülebilirdi. Tam anlamıyla hayata geçememiş bir proje çevre düzenlemeleri eksik. Şehrin merkezinde izleri farklı bir zamana tanıklık etmek istiyorsanız mutlaka ziyaret ediniz.

Eski tarihi yansıtan binaları görmek güzeldi ve işçilik çok güzelmiş gerçekten. Ancak daha temiz ve bakımlı olabilirdi. Biraz sakin bir yer sanırım pek tercih edilmiyor.

Yeni yapılarla iç içe geçmiş harebe halde çoğu yıkılmış olan ve bazılarında göçmenlerin yaşadığı eski kayseriyi anlatan güzel yapılar.büyük bir alana yayılmış şekilde içinde kilise ve camii ler barındırıyor..
