The House of the Pilgrims
The construction date of the house, which is located in Sheikh Mahallesi and today is recorded as the Hajikadi House, is between 1875 and 1880, and Hajikadi Suleiman Efendi, the first mayor of Muğla, and his wife Pembe Hatun built this house for their son Ömer Efendi.

The construction date of the house, which is located in Sheikh Mahallesi and today is recorded as the Hajikadi House, is between 1875 and 1880, and Hajikadi Suleiman Efendi, the first mayor of Muğla, and his wife Pembe Hatun built this house for their son Ömer Efendi. The historic Clock Tower, which is important for Muğla, and the state hospital, formerly called the Homeland Hospital, were also built by the same family.
