The Lajos Kossuth Museum
It's an 18th-century Turkish house. It is also popularly known as the Hungarian House. Lajos Kossuth, one of the leaders of the Hungarian War of Independence, was a guest in Kütahya between 1850 and 1851 with his family and a group of 56 refugees and prepared the Draft Constitution of Hungary in this house. The two-story, seven-room wooden house in the garden was restored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, organized as a museum in memory of Lajos Kossuth and opened to the public on September 19, 1982. The museum exhibits items belonging to Lajos Kossuth and ethnographic cultural assets belonging to the classical Turkish house.
