Bir dostumun cenazesi için gittim. Çok güz l çok beğendim. Kadim Süryani cemaati ile beraber oldum. Acılarımızı paylaştık. Dostum çok güzel bir cemaate aitmiş. Allah rahmet eylesin. Mekanı cennet olsun.

İstanbul'da bulunan önemli Ermeni Kiliselerinden biridir. Ermeni Patrikliği olarak da hizmet etmiştir. Pazar günleri Ermeni Cemaatinden olmasanız da ayinlere katılmanıza izin veriliyor.

İstanbulda bulunan bir apostolik kilisesi. Yapı 1866-1887 arası 11. yüzyıldan kalma eski bir Bizans kilisesi ve manastırının üzerinde inşa edilmiştir. Eski yapı Azize Meryem Peribleptos (Yunanca: Grekçe: Μονὴ τῆς Θεοτòκου τῆς Περιβλὲπτου, Monì tis Theotókou tis Perivléptou) Konstantinopolis'in en önemli Yunan Ortodoks Kiliselerinden biriydi.[1] 1453'te Osmanlılar'ın kenti almasından sonra yapı İstanbul'un Ermeni nüfusuna verilmiş, hatta bir süreliğine İstanbul Ermeni Patrikhanesi de olmuştur.[2][3] Hemen yanında Ermeni Sahakyan Nunyan Okulu adında anaokulu, ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise görevi gören özel okul mevcuttur.
